Spring has finally arrived! But so has this critter!  The dreaded deer tick 

In Minnesota, spring seems to be like the great awakening. Everyone comes out of hibernation. The neighbor kids have all gown a foot taller and are almost hard to recognize. Everyone is getting outside, which is great to see. 

Being outside is a great thing but we also need to be aware that it does expose us to certain things that can affect our health significantly. Lyme disease is one of those things. By no means do we want to scare people especially from going outside and doing healthy things. It is important however that you understand the risk and what to watch for in case you or one of your loved ones has to deal with this illness.
