Description
The first annual Art Wander - Edge of the Big Woods, a self-guided tour September 28 and 29, features an eclectic mix of mediums including painting, weaving, jewelry, pottery, woodworking, culinary, invention, sculpture, chainsaw, mosaic, illustration, and metalworking. The event is a great opportunity to meet over 30 artists in person, see how and where they work, and shop for one-of-a-kind art. Studios will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
This event is funded in part by appropriations form the Minnesota State Legislature with money from the State's general fund, and its arts and cultural heritage fund that was created by a vote of the people of Minnesota on November 4, 2008.
